Sabrina Carpenter has given fans an intimate first listen to her upcoming album Man’s Best Friend, sharing heartwarming glimpses from a private listening party in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, August 14, the Espresso singer took to Instagram to post a series of photos capturing special moments from the event. The photo carousel began with a black-and-white group shot featuring Carpenter alongside a small circle of lucky fans, followed by a glamorous solo image of the 26-year-old artist seated at a piano, wine glass in hand, wearing a shimmering golden outfit.

One particularly joyful snap showed Sabrina Carpenter dancing enthusiastically with attendees, capturing the celebratory spirit of the night. “Last night was the first playdate for Man’s Best Friend!” Carpenter wrote in her caption.

Detailing the evening, the Please, Please, Please hitmaker explained, “I asked 26 of my beautiful LA fans to meet at a private location and then get on a bus to come meet me at the studio where I got to play the whole album for them.” She revealed that guests handed over their phones upon arrival, allowing them to be “totally present and respectful,” making it one of her “favorite nights in such a long time.”

Sabrina Carpenter expressed her excitement about the record, saying, “The excitement I get to play this album top to bottom is really like no other record I’ve made.”

Man’s Best Friend marks Carpenter’s highly anticipated seventh studio album and is set for release on August 29, 2025, under Island Records. The project follows the global success of her previous releases, including chart-topping singles and her breakout 2024 hit Espresso.
